AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men’s golf team took 12th place at their home event in the 3M Augusta Invitational on Sunday at Forest Hills Golf Club. Augusta senior Broc Everett shot his season-low 65 (-7) to ascend the leaderboard by 10 spots and take third individually.

No. 23 nationally-ranked Illinois dominated the 15-team field at 25-under-par to win the event. Houston and Wake Forest each finished runner-up (-10), and USC Aiken and Kennesaw State tied for fourth for the top scoring teams.

Everett shot 71, 72, and 65 on the weekend to finish 8-under-par and lead Augusta. His round-three 65 was one stroke shy of his career-low round. Last year at the 3MAI, Everett finished tied for fifth.
